On the 6th of August 2011 Andy Warhol would have turned 83 years old. In remembrance artist Edgar Askelovic has made a sculpture of what Andy would have looked like if he was still alive today. For some reason I find the sculpture quite sad. I guess when famous people die young, they’re always remembered as they were in their prime. I think this sculpture reminds us that Andy Warhol was just as human as we all are, and I guess in that respect it’s pretty nice.
